Had an emo moment yday. I am part of a FB mummies group and one of the members wrote about her baby being moody and seemingly constantly trying to search her out during the day when he was being cared for by this lady's mother while she returned to work.

I have just one thing to say. Online shopping is E V I L.

Was cradling T last night and trying to coax him to sleep by looking into his eyes and singing to him quietly. It was one of those moments where u just feel like u and ur baby are the only people in the universe.

Then E decided to spoil the moment by using his hugeass hand to cut off the eye contact btwn us!

Somehow or other I caught a cold, now normally this wouldn't be too bad, except now there's T to worry about. Im trying my best not to pass it on to him but its tough when I'm his main source of sustenance.

So I put on a mask while he was taking a nap and had my mum help me get him from bed when he woke up for his feed.

This year's 18 June was a bittersweet one for me, while it marked a month of having T in our lives, it was also this day 2 years ago that we lost our first baby.

Maybe I'm over-milking the sympathy votes on this, but I don't think I'll ever get over it, this date would forever be marked with significance.

I feel like such a spoilt brat coz I've had such a great support network in Mumsie and E that I haven't had to do a complete diaper change myself till now!

So many backdated entries to put up but I thot I should put up this quick entry to mark this little milestone. T turns 1 month old today and already we see the difference from the time he was born. It's amazing to watch his progress every day and I wonder how in gonna be able to tear myself away to return to work when my ML is up.
